Picturesque lake Teletskoe is located in a tectonic basin in the northeastern part of the Altai in Ulagan and Turochaksky areas of the Altai Republic. From all sides the lake is surrounded by mountain ranges, up to 2500 m. In lake Teletskoye get 70 rivers and more watercourses.
