Genclik Park Photo: Genclik Park

Not far from the area of Ankara called Ulus, where to this day excavations have recently found the ruins of the Roman baths is one of the most beautiful parks of the capital — Genclik Park or as it is called "youth Park". Genclik Park - the oldest and the most popular place of recreation for the citizens of Ankara. Last year it was fully updated. Its area is about thirty acres. You can walk along its alleys, or make a trip to the Ethnographic Museum nearby.

The Park itself is very original – the Central place is the lake around which there are various leisure areas and attractions. All this is beautifully highlighted by changing the color of the lights. Here You can not only relax, but also to experience all sorts of water activities. The Park is quite crowded in the evening, there is an amusement Park with rides, cafes, fountains and other pleasures of life.

Be sure to go to Ankara "Festival of Ramadan." The festival is held in Genclik Park until 8 September. Works here and book fair, contests, discussions on different topics, concerts, you can buy various Souvenirs and Handicrafts.
