The oldest part of Antalya called Kaleici. Originally it was a Roman city, then he became the Byzantine, and later moved to Turkish-Seljuks, and finally the Turkish Ottoman Empire.

There are several entrances to the resort, but the most convenient is Kalegaev, and the most picturesque and historically significant Hadrians gate. Nearby is the tram line, at the entrance to the taxi rank. Also it has its own fire brigade, private beach, its shops and cafes, this city within a city.

Today the resort is practically the center of tourism, has preserved the original look, new buildings which, at the same time, fit perfectly into the architectural ensemble. On its site built a lot of hotels, boarding houses, restaurants and shops. There are constantly hear the cries of vendors, to buy various Souvenirs, jewelry and furniture coming from Eastern shops and souvenir shops. Particular attention is drawn to beautiful handmade carpets, among which can often be found and vintage fabric.
