Casa Lleo Morera is one of the three famous magnificent houses, which, together with two others – Casa Amal Puig-I-Cadafalch and Casa batlló, Antoni gaudí - form "Quarter of disagreement on the Paseo de Gracia, which received this name because of the unusually bright and impressive, but strikingly different from other architecture. The house was built by the famous architect, the modernist of the time of Luis Domenech-and-Monterey.
Unlike other houses of this time that it was customary to call in accordance with the names of their owners, Casa Lleo Morera named in honor of the motifs present on its facade in the form of lions (lleó) and mulberry trees (morera).
When working on the decoration of the house Domenech-and-Montrer collaborated with ceramic artist Anthony Sulfur-and-Fiter, a famous sculptor Eusebi Arnau, masters of mosaic Lewis BRU and Mario Maragliano, and master of decor and furniture Gaspar Homare.
