Park "Valley of Roses" in Chisinau is one of the most popular parks in the city. Located in the Botanica neighborhood Park was founded in 1968 on the territory of about 145 hectares, where the natural forest and there was a whole plantation of roses. In the Soviet times was called "City Park of culture and leisure. Lenin". It is in honor of the plantation of roses the Park got it's name - "Valley of Roses".

The landscaping of the Park area began with the strengthening of dams, cleaning of lakes, were laid new asphalt paths. In a short time the Park turned into a beautiful and cozy corner of the city. Today the Central part of the Park is decorated with a cascade of lakes with a total area of 9 ha. On the lakes has many exciting activities for children and adults, which attracts a huge number of not only local residents but also visitors alike.

In the Park "Valley of Roses" is home to over 50 different species of trees and shrubs, which can be found among the prickly spruce, oak cerenity, white acacia, birch, pagoda tree and many others. In addition, the Park is home to almost tame squirrels, eagerly feeding from your hands, and wander in search of mushrooms or berries. The local lake has become a favorite destination for local ducks. Near the lakes is well equipped children's and sports grounds, as well as a bridge for lovers.

On the outskirts of the Park there is a small children's Playground with colorful rides and attractions. Special attention of tourists attracts a large Ferris wheel, a variety of swings, roller coasters and electric machines. Also very popular attraction, where a collection of old slot machines the Soviet era that have survived in working condition.

From 1990 to 2000-the year the Park was opened a few restaurants and cafes, built the hotel "Royal Park".

Although in recent decades the Park footpaths worn out and have not been repaired, and the lake is dirty, the Park "Valley of Roses" everything is also considered a favorite destination of residents and guests of the city.
