Khasavyurt historical Museum is located on Motorbiene, 26. Its founder was honored school teacher of the Dagestan ASSR, a local historian Boris petrović Dorogobuzh. The Grand opening of the Museum took place in February 1990

The historical Museum is located in two-storey building typical architectural structures of merchant houses of the early twentieth century the Building was erected in 1902 by the merchant of the second Guild Autonym Adil. The institution occupies half of the first floor. The area of exhibition hall is more than 145 sqm

Khasavyurt Museum reflects the history Tasalakki Kumyks, which is presented in three halls. In the first room visitors to the Museum have the opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the region since ancient times to 1917, the Second hall of the Museum of Ethnography, it is possible to see more details about the culture of the Kumyks, Chechens, Avars, and so on.
