The famous sculpture Park and recreation is located 3 kilometers from the town of Druskininkai in the village of Nowcasts, on the estate of Antanas Cesnulis. The Park is a unique exhibition of sculptures carved from wood by folk artist Antanas Cesnulis.

Antanas Cesnulis once worked as a tractor driver in the nursery Druskininkai forest enterprise. Here he not only regulated machines and mechanisms, but also imprisoned and then nursed the rows of pine trees. But the most interesting thing in his environment, no one suspected that it concealed the artist's talent. A. Cesnulis 3 years studied at Vilnius state high school of arts, painting Department. Then he built himself a house, he manufactured furniture: cabinets, tables, stools, beds. Decorated house artistic cornices, original chandeliers, cozy curtains.

Working in forestry, Antanas made tables, benches, lamps, stools. Later he began to charge more challenging work. From pine growths from the master boxes were art telephone sets, he also made large wooden barriers. Lot of effort and patience spent, folding of rough knots of the window kiosk for Souvenirs.

In the Museum "Forest echoes" was first author arranged the exhibition of Antanas Cesnulis. It presented the portraits, lamps, bookplates, bas relief wood sculptures. His first major work was sculptural group dedicated to the Lithuanian folk tale "the Fir – Queen of snakes". The artist has long been in search of forms of expression for the figures of Agualusa, Aigle, Drabble. Sculpture seamlessly blended into the beauty of the Park.

About creations capable master quickly recognized throughout the country. Cesnulis began to work not only for native nursery. In panevėžys industrial forestry Association table appeared lumberjack, made by the artist. For POISKOVO Bora, he created a sculpture of a warrior and priest, and in Lessingham the farm was built a monumental pillar.

Cesnulis was first invited to a gathering of folk artists. The first seminar he created a sculpture of kowshika bull and gave it to the Lithuanian national Park. Then they was invented beautiful work, "Two Cockerel, which was donated by the kindergarten collective farm of a name of A. Snechkus.

Every year Antanas Cesnulis participates in the seminar of the Society of folk art on the Curonian spit. The young artist was awarded the honorary title of national master.

But back to the manor Antanas Cesnulis. She stands on the banks of the river of the world. At the entrance to the estate visitors are greeted by a windmill. It consists of 4 floors, each of which are sculptures created by the owner. Features covers the quiet, dreamlike mood. The mysterious atmosphere in the Park of wooden sculptures set among trees, shrubs, on the hills of the magnificent scenery. The impression is that they are here for many hundreds of years and has long been tied up with the natural environment.

If you go from the mill in the direction of the river of the world, you will see a unique wall "Repitoire". In her stone niches situated carvings grieving Christ, the work of all Lithuanian artists. Along the river you can see the song "the Life of man and tree". It is a unique combination of natural beauty and old pine trees and carved oak figures.

You will see here a scene in which the music unfolds the action of the dance. And placed around the characters from the works of Lithuanian authors, Antanas Vienuolis, Ventas Crewe and others.
