The Sheikh Zayed road in Dubai is the main and longest street of the Emirate. Its length is 55 km. After the reconstruction of the road, the former ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid al Maktoum decided to name it the name of the first President of UAE Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan.
