Boka Kotor coast there are many beautiful places to see. Church of the Saviour is one of the unique gems among all other Montenegrin attractions. It is important to note that the Church of the Saviour is only a part of the Church complex, which is located in Topla, near Herceg Novi. The entire complex consists of two temples and the building that once served as the residence of the Bishop of famous and respected dynasty of Negocia - Petar II Petrovic. It is here that the Bishop was trained in both reading and writing.

Saviour Church was built in 1713, however, its present appearance owes overhaul 1864.

The iconostasis of the Church of the Savior – the work of Greek masters-painters of the nineteenth century. In addition, the Church holds a unique collection of icons, including the Russians, as well as silver tableware and a variety of old books.

Many churches in Montenegro was restored and was built from scratch on the site of previous churches. For example, near the Spasskaya Church is another Church – the Church of St. George. It was built around the end of the XVII century on the ruins of the once Turkish mosques.
