Kobetsky Center of Water Sports, the construction of which cost $17 million, is located about a mile from the business centre of Hobart. It hosted the Australian swimming championship, Tasmanian swimming championship, Pacific Games and various international Championships. In the same center in the first years of its existence there were competitions in water Polo, diving, water hockey.

All areas of the centre are located under the roof. Within a 50-meter Olympic pool with 8 lanes, 25-metre heated pool, swimming pool and plunge pool, 20x20 meters. Tower diving has three platform located at a height of 5, 7, 5, and 10 meters, as well as one - and three-meter springboards.
