The Emperor's tomb You Duc Photo: the Tomb of Emperor You Duc

The Emperor's tomb You Duc consists of 50 buildings and surrounded by a large Park. The tomb was built in 1864-1867, for use both before and after his death.

In the Palace Hoa Khiem lived the family of the Emperor, and now here is a number of interesting items, including a mirror that used by Imperial concubines, watches and other items that You donated to the French Duc; memorial tablets of the Emperor and Empress; and the two thrones is greater for the Empress.

Pavilion sung Cham is located on the shore of the lake. Here the Emperor was seated among his concubines composing or reading poetry. And in the pavilion of the Ming Chem was classic theatre, where he arranged for the presentation of the Emperor and his family.

In the Northern part of the Park on the shore of the lake are the graves adopted son You Duc Emperor KIEN Fuca, and the Empress Le Thien Anh – wife You Duc.

The tomb of the Emperor You Duc walled, is on the other side of the lake. But in fact, Tu Duc was never buried here. The place where his remains (along with many treasures) is unknown. For fear of grave robbers, have taken extreme measures to protect the secrecy of all 200 servants, persons who buried the king, were beheaded.
