Prince Vladimir monastery in Irkutsk is a functioning Orthodox monastery, situated in the suburbs Working on Kastalskoy mountain.

The Foundation of the Church in 1888 was dedicated to the 900 anniversary of the baptism of Rus ' Grand Prince Vladimir. The temple was built by funds donated by merchant Vasily Andreevich Litvintseva. The locals called this temple "Litvinovsky" or "white." The author of the project was made by architect Vladislav Kudelski.

The Vladimirskaya Church is built in pseudo-Russian style of architecture, with beautiful hipped bell tower with two cupolas over the Western wall and three heads over the East. The Grand opening of the monastery took place in July 1903

In 1904-1905 the Russo-Japanese war the monastery was placed in the hospital of the red cross. Church-teacher school was opened in 1900 and In 1905 the school was converted into a Seminary, after which she was placed in a newly built building. Orthodox believers the Church was restored in 1990, It was in bad condition, so believers immediately began reconstruction and repair works. Restoration of the monastery ended in 2002.
