On the edge of the hill, the oldest part of Kashin - Kremlin, surrounded by remnants of the shafts, there is a glorious resurrection Cathedral, which was built over 1796-1867. This is one of the grandest cathedrals of Tver land, not inferior to the capital's buildings.

The Church consists of an apse, the temple itself with its solemn five domes. the refectory and three-tiered bell tower with a clock (the height of over 70m). The temple facades are decorated hexastyle Tuscan order porticos with pediments, the corners are reinforced with pilasters and the wall surface is covered with shallow panels. The drums light heads have octagonal multi-form, very liskow spread in Kashin temples with octagonal top parts. Built in the mid-nineteenth century refectory with a bell tower attached to the construction features of historicism.
