State Museum of fine arts of the Republic of Tatarstan - one of the biggest and famous art museums of Russia. Its collection includes paintings, drawings, sculpture, theater and decorative and applied art of the classical Western European schools XVI-XIX centuries, Russian art XVI-XX centuries, and Soviet Tatar decorative and applied art; a unique collection of icons from the churches of Sviyazhsk. The Museum houses the largest collection of works by the artist N. And.Fechin.

Part of the collection is represented in the permanent collections of the Museum, familiarity with stock material is provided to temporary exhibitions.
