The border lands Museum is located in picturesque surroundings near the town of Kirkenes. Its exposition is devoted to the Second world war, Sami culture and the creation of a mining company Sydvaranger AS. Several exhibitions acquaint visitors with nature, culture and history of the border with Russia in the municipality of Sør-Varanger.

In the Museum on the Second world war, reflected the perception of this event by the Norwegians.
