The old town of KOs was destroyed by an earthquake in 1933, but the disaster has exposed a myriad of antiquities. For example, the Ancient Agora are the ruins from different eras: from antique to the Byzantine ruins. Here you can see the temple of Hercules III century BC with mosaic floors, the Arcade Forum for two centuries older, the ruins of the temple of Aphrodite and even Christian Basilica of the fifth century.

Roman house (Casa Romana) – a building in Pompeian style. There were 26 rooms, three pools, three shaded patio with columns. In several rooms there are remains of wall paintings and mosaic floors. At the base of the building you can see the excavations of the ancient baths and the remains of a major Roman road with antique capitals. Beside – Odeon (indoor Roman theatre) with marble and limestone benches.
