The Church Of St. Nicholas is a true architectural masterpiece in the neoclassical style, created in 1799-1801, according to a project of the Russian architect Yakov Perrin, endearing for its impressive facade with columns at the three entrances, a large bell tower and dome. At the entrance visitors are greeted by a sculpture of Mary Purple, managed to prevent the destruction of the Church during the Crimean war.
For the indigenous people of the Church.Nicholas is the oldest building in the city known valuable unusual icons, one of which depicts the face of St. Nicholas on the background of a sea landscape. The interior of the Church symbolizes the harmony of goodness, love, unity and peace.
