Gallery Krapina is located in the Open University of the Croatian town of Krapina. She is in the house of a lawyer from a family of Myzen. The building was built in the second half of the nineteenth century and belongs to the neoclassical style. The structure is of historical value because there many times were going well-known Croatian historical figures. Descendants of Cornstarch - daughter, Zdenka and Nadia left the house and there is arranged an art gallery Krapina.
The Krapina gallery was opened on the fifth of September 1993, the day of the 800 anniversary of the first written mention of the city of Krapina. Today in the gallery was already more than a hundred exhibitions of contemporary artists. The gallery has its own collection of paintings and sculptures by contemporary Croatian artists, including do have some paintings of the artist Ernest tomašević and sculptures of Vekoslav Raclaca.
