The Dilek Peninsula national Park Photo: national Park Dilek

Near Kusadasi is a wonderful national Park of Dilek. Most of this reserve is closed to tourists as a war zone. The most frequently visited site is a 10-kilometer stretch of road going past the four beautiful pebble beaches. Here you can see the Mediterranean flora – chestnut forests with a dry brush. The Park is home to cheetahs and Anatolian wild horses – the only one left in Turkey.
