One of the unique historical attractions of the Norwegian steamer "Skibladner", built in 1854. Its name was in honor of the ship, which, according to tradition, belonged to the God Freyr.
"Skibladner" – the world's oldest passenger paddle steamer, which despite its age is still on the go. During the summer, he takes tourists on lake Mjøsa. August 2, 1856 "Skibladner was first launched. In 1888. the ship was reconstructed: the body is lengthened and installed a new steam engine. Throughout its history the ship sank twice, but each time after lifting it to the surface was to be overhauled.
On 14 July 2005. (for the first time in Norway) steamship received the status of a moving monument of history.
