In addition, the process of formation of the pyramids is not complete – its form and appearance they slightly change every year. Today there are pyramids, resembling mushrooms, minarets, haystacks, Alpine peaks, obelisks, swords, Gothic temples and pyramids.
The village Karmanovo in the area of Blagoevgrad are four pyramids that are of particular interest. They resemble the hundred-meter obelisk with steep slopes, inaccessible peaks of which are covered with grassy vegetation. Near the village of Rozhen you can see more than a thousand so-called pyramids, large and small rock mushrooms.
