The temple complex Todai-JI temple was built in the period from 710 for 784 years, when the site of the modern city of Nara was built new Japanese capital Haze. In Secoin stored rarities times of construction of the temple, in particular, the jewels of the Japanese emperors, who ruled the country from 701 to 760 years, artifacts, imported along the silk road from Persia, India, China, and a collection of masks of theatre gigaku. Some of the treasure SEZON exhibited in the museums of the city of Nara.

In the temple were found two sacred sword, which was considered lost for 1250 years. Swords Echocan and Infocan donated to the temple in 756, the Empress Coma, they are made of iron and decorated with gold, silver and glaze.
