Pardubice Villa "Eva" has a second name. It is called the Villa Victor Krige on behalf of the client and the first host. It is located in a quiet part of Pardubice near Bubenikova gardens on the shore of a small lake. It was erected in 1925 by the design of Carl Turnip, who personally supervised the construction and supervised the workers.
Carl Turnips returned to his hometown of Pardubice from Ljubljana and immediately received an offer of cooperation from jože Plečnik, who was regarded as the main Builder in the time of President Masaryk. In Pardubice construction boom was started, involving the emergence of many private villas. Rich people fully trust the architects allowed to realize their ideas, so working with them was beneficial not only with material but also from a creative point of view.
Carl Turnips in the Villa Victor Krige helped interior designer Josef Salava, who preferred to make room in the art Deco style.
The mansion turned out cozy and tidy, surrounded by a terrace, the railings of which were decorated with flower pots. Passers-by stopped when they saw the window frame, painted white and green, and the door pink hue. But the customer liked Villa, so it was decided to leave everything as is.
The Central room of the Villa is a spacious hall, wooden staircase leads. Manor chambers located on the second floor, and the maid's room is under the roof, in the attic.
The Villa was equipped with the latest technology. There were dressing room, the Windows of which overlooked the garden and the kitchen, where he worked as a modern oven.
The Villa was almost rebuilt. Since 2007 she is under the protection of the Czech state.
