Kardamili is a small Greek town on the southern coast of the Peloponnese (Western Mani, Messinia), about 35 km from Kalamata town and 6 km from the village Stupa. The history of this settlement has had since time immemorial. In Homer's "Illiade" Kardamili is mentioned as one of the seven cities that legendary Mycenaean king Agamemnon offered to Achilles, so he became his ally in the Trojan war.

Kardamili is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the Peloponnese. This beautiful seaside town nestled on the picturesque slopes of the hills, among the wild olive groves and majestic cypress trees, which in combination with rising above the horizon the snow-white peaks of the mountain range of Taygetos are stunning panoramic views.
