The children's Museum in the city of Polotsk was opened in 2004. This unique Museum, created specifically for children on the initiative of the scientist and the teacher Dzhumantaeva T. A.

The Museum begins in the yard, where young visitors are greeted by a kind original sculptures from the world of fairy tales.

Unlike other museums, there are showcases and panels "the exhibits are hands not to touch". Here everything can be touched, seen, studied. The main theme of the Museum exposition "the History of familiar things". The creators of the exhibition were able to look at the world of ordinary things through the eyes of a child, but for the baby even watch unknown mechanism created by wizards.

The Museum has two halls. In the first – world time dimensions and weight. There are collections of watches, scales, and bells. Miniature bell tower a bell you can call all they want.

The second room has a variety of cameras, recording devices and even samovars. In a showcase are interchangeable exhibitions "the World of my Hobbies". Belarusian schoolchildren across the country are fighting for the right to exhibit their collections of stamps, coins, postcards.

All tours at the children's Museum is specially adapted for small fidgets, so they do not get bored and their attention is not scattered. Despite the fact that the Museum made for children, adults here, too, instantly forget about the years and remember my childhood.

In the Museum there is a computer room where kids can play educational games, learn the techniques of working at the computer, to see photographs from previous exhibitions of children's collections.
