Assumption Church is located in the village of Aksenovo Palkino district of the Pskov region. In 1938, the Church was renamed Priezukalns. The Church building is erected on an elevated site. Near the temple, on the East side, is the old parish cemetery, the cemetery is an ancient chapel. In this chapel until 1901 every year on the day of the Dormition of the mother of God by the clergy of the Kachanivska Church held prayer services.
In the late 19th century, in 1898, a local landlord Bekleshev, who lived in the estate Trubarevo, formed a Committee, which was requested in the Pskov diocese, to allow them to rebuild the Church–school in the village Aksenova Mountain. Pskov diocese gave permission for the construction and allocated the necessary funds. The construction of the Church-school was completed in 1901 and in the same year, on 16 September, was held the ceremony of consecration of the assumption of the Mother of God. The architecture of the building of the Church school is similar to the architecture of the building, which was built in 1897 in Smiltene Latvia (architect Rybinsk).
The Church-school in a long time, namely until 1907, belonged to the Kachanivska parish. At that time in the Church-school priest Nikolay Kudryavtsev.
