Seville is one of the largest centers of Spain, a city with a rich history, unique culture and interesting customs and traditions. It was in Seville is the oldest and one of the largest arenas Bullring - Plaza de Toros de La Maestranza.
The construction of the arena began in 1849, and completed until 1881. Today, the arena Plaza de Toros de La Maestranza is able to take by 14 thousand spectators. The structure is designed mainly in Baroque style, the upper part of the audience lodges covered porch, on the West side of the arena are the Puerta del príncipe – Gate through which usually cheering crowd of spectators endured at the hands of a Matador. During the tour visitors will see with your own eyes all the premises of the arena Plaza de Toros de La Maestranza, because behind its walls lies a different world. Inside the arena is a Museum that displays of posters, photographs, portraits, costumes Torero. The most interesting exhibit of the Museum for many is the cloak, outstanding painted by Pablo Picasso. Also on the territory of the arena is a Church where members of bullfighting pray before battle. There are also operational, but during the fighting here permanently staffed by doctors and the ambulance. Also during the tour you can visit the premises for the Torero and a pen for the bulls. Well, of course, more importantly, what visitors come here – bullfighting, which is arranged in the period from April to October.
