The square Green located in Shuya, Ivanovo region, there is a commemorative monument dedicated to the faithful people who were tragically killed during the persecution of the Church in the period between 1920 and the 1930s. The opening of the monument took place in autumn 2007. The opening ceremony was held in the square before the Cathedral of the resurrection, which was popular Shuiskaya the bell tower. The author of this pedestal was the people's artist of Russia and honoured sculptor Alexander Rukavishnikov.
