Another big name in the history of the Museum zoologist, paleontologist and archaeologist Sven Nilsson, who, as curator of the Museum in 1828 - 1831-ies resulted in the order of Zoological collection of the Museum.

To date, the natural history Museum, whose collection consists of almost ten million items, aims to promote knowledge about the natural world, inspiring people to take better care of our planet. His keepers and staff make every effort to ensure that the Museum has become not only a centre of knowledge, but also became the most popular place for meetings and discussions both Amateurs and experts. In this regard, the Museum not only preserves, expands and shows visitors a unique collection gathered over many years, but also regularly carries out fundamental research.
