The skyscraper Q1 (which means Room No. 1 in Queensland) rises above the surf in the town of surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast of Australia. It's the world's tallest residential building, the tallest building in Australia and the southern hemisphere and the second tallest free-standing building in the southern hemisphere after new Zealand skyscraper sky tower in Auckland.
