In place of the current small town of Thalang Phuket the battle of Thais with the Burmese in 1785. The memory of this war and the victory of the Thai people immortalized in the Monument heroines of Thep Krasattri and sung si Thon, who managed to organize the defense of the island and outsmart enemies: two bronze women dressed in men's clothes, standing with Thai swords in their hands.

In wool Prathong is amazing statue gilded Buddha, half buried in the ground. Several times it tried to dig out, but all attempts ended unsuccessfully.
