Lienz is an Austrian town located in the state of Tyrol. The city is home to more than 12,000 people. Lienz is often called the "city of the Dolomites".

From 300 BC on the territory of modern Lienz lived the Celts who were under the control of the Roman Empire in 15 BC Lienz Itself was first mentioned in the case, issued by the Bishop of Brixen in 1030. Lienz is a member of the Association of small historic towns. The main square of the 13th century and the Bruck castle, the residence of the counts of Hertz, built in 13-16 centuries, are some of the main attractions of the city.
