Waterfall Bela Water is on the river of Stakevska, which flows in the North-Western part of the Balkan mountains (Bulgarian name Stara Planina). This waterfall is located near the village of Stakevci that in the Bulgarian municipality of Belogradchik. Bela Water is in a picturesque location. The waterfall consists of two, following each other, their total height is about 15 meters. In 1976 waterfall Bela Water was declared a natural landmark and is included in the longest eco-route in the Western Balkans. Along the river you can see several smaller waterfalls.
To reach the falls is very simple; you just need to pass through the village of Stakevci on the main road that goes from the village up to the mountain. After leaving the village, on the road you will see information boards telling about the flora and fauna of the area. After about 500 meters up the road you will come to a junction, left of which is a sign depicting a white bird on a red background with the words "protected area", you can also see the white-red marks on the trees.
The waterfall itself Bela Water is in the valley, before it can descend by a steep path.
The road to the waterfall is quite good, so it can be reached by car. If you go from the village on foot, the road is about a 30-40 minute walk at a leisurely pace.
