The diocese was under his control from 1931 to 37 years – this period is the most difficult for the Orthodox Church. The grateful memory of the Martyr Porphyrios is stored on the Crimean land. Thanks to the efforts of Metropolitan Lazarus, in 1998 in honor of Nepomuceno Porphyria was established a small temple in p. Zaozernoye in Evpatoria deanery. The temple was located in the house, where previously housed the village Council, later clinic. In 1998 March 7, in the village formed a community of the UOC, the Chairman of which was N. And. Polyanina. In November 1998, an agreement was signed to lease the buildings for the temple. It needed major repairs, but the active community, despite the difficulties, have made every effort to restore the building. The first worship service was held in the temple in 1998, the sixth of December at nine o'clock in the morning. This is a significant event in the lives of believers, as previously the service was conducted very rarely and only on the street.

The Church continued to grow with God's help and the prayers of the parishioners. In 2002, the second in December laid the Foundation of the altar of the temple. This event was a great joy. In the spring of 2003 in the temple the priest appeared on a regular basis – priest Ilya Malyutin. Built the roof, repaired heating, replaced the floors, built the dome and set up a cross.
