The former Imperial residence of schönbrunn Palace has a Palace and a huge Park, which includes the Botanical garden, palm pavilion, Europe's oldest zoo and much more.

The Palace was built in 1713 as the Imperial summer residence, but was rebuilt several times. His best halls belong to the reign of Empress Maria Theresa. From more than a thousand rooms for tourists, there are around 40.

Interior spaces are no different stylistic unity, but it worked famous artists and masters of applied art. Particularly noteworthy are: the Great gallery, which hosted public receptions and banquets; blue Chinese salon in the Rococo style; office of Maria Theresa, decorated with replicas of Dutch and German paintings; Lacquer Cabinet decorated with lacquer panels in the Oriental style.

In one of the side wings of the castle houses the Museum of carriages. A collection of more than 60 coaches, starting from the XVII century, in shape for riding, harness, saddles, livery Kucherov and paintings of horses and carriages.

Regular Park, starting from the building of the Palace, smoothly into the rise of the hill on top of which is a pavilion of Gloriette. It offers a magnificent view of Vienna.
