Estate Groholsky is a cultural and historical landmark in the city of Vinnitsa, located on the street Michurina, 32. The estate was built in the XVIII century by count Mikhail Grokholsky from Poland. A two-storey Palace Grokholsky built in the style of early classicism. It includes a Palace, a wing and a pavilion. They are in the midst of a historic landscape Park with an area of 32 ha.
The majestic castle was built by Turkish and Tatar prisoners. From the beginning it served not only for travelers, but also for protection. The Palace was square and had one floor, in the corners stood a two-level tower and a little further was located two single-stage square tower. They were stretched ramparts and ditches that surrounded the fortress area. Completed the image of a fortress arched entrance gate.
Estate Groholsky striking in its simplicity and austerity. Throughout its history the manor and the Palace has experienced difficulties, resulting in the structures have lost their original appearance, but some of them still managed to restore it. However, the castle was updated only on one side.
Some time after the erection of the Palace in the estate was planted a beautiful garden. It was a real amazing Park with stunning scenery, beautiful alleys and branched trees. The Park exists to this day. Today, young couples are able to not only walk through this Park, but to find a place for beautiful wedding photography. Reconstruction of the Park was conducted by the Ukrainian landscape painter and architect D. Muckleroy.
