Church of St. Barbara (Barbara) in the current version was built in 1885 by Victor Piotrowski. The first Church on this place was built in 1785. It was designed as a small Church in rural cemetery. Money for the construction was given was Marshal (the Marshal of the nobility) Urban pavita (County) Anthony CBS.

In 1800 near the Church was built of brick chapel (chapel) Holy cross. The construction was carried out on money of the Vitebsk cornet's LISCO.

At the end of the nineteenth century the number of parishioners has increased so much that the small cemetery Church could not accommodate everyone. In this regard, it was decided to build a large temple. 4 December 1885 new brick, neo-Gothic Church was consecrated in honor of St. Barbara and St. Joseph.

Holy Martyr Barbara Catholics is considered the protector against sudden death. Catholics feared sudden death, because the person did not have time to prepare her is to confess and partake of the Holy Mysteries. Such illustrious patroness and the location of the Church near the cemetery made him extremely popular among devout people.

In 1935 the Church was closed, and came to power, the atheists began to use the majestic Cathedral as the storage of fertilizers.

In 1993, after numerous requests of the faithful Catholics, the Church was again consecrated by father Janusz Seccom in the name of Agia Varvara (Barbara). In our days it is a functioning Catholic Church.
