Vladimir's Shopping arcade is located on Bolshaya Moskovskaya street, which is the main and one of the oldest. Previously, it was called Great in the early 17th century was part of a tract "vladimirka" coming from Moscow, and the Central street of the city.

Vladimir bargaining in ancient times was located on the place where today is located the House of officers. The construction of the Shopping series lasted from 1787 on funds and commissioned merchants Vladimir. In those days the Governor of Vladimir was P. G. Lazarev – father of the famous Explorer M. P. Together, the merchants of Vladimir decided to build in Vladimir stone benches contrary to the General plan, going to the Mall from the Golden gate bridge.

Market stalls in the plan was in the form of a quadrangle with a wide open area inside, where until the 1960s, was the Central market. Presumably the project of the Shopping centre's building in classical style was designed by architect Nicholas von Burke, who at the time was engaged in a regular town plan. A prototype building was made by the galleries of St. Petersburg's Gostiny Dvor.

In 1790, had completed construction of the first line that runs along the Tsaritsyno and main streets. In 1791 the Mall worked 51 shop where they sold all kinds of goods from shoes and clothing to food products. Behind Trading rows were located Market square with stalls and shops. In 1913, the East wing was built two-storey rotunda project S. M. Zharov, chequered architectural-style character building. Arcature of the facade of the series resonated with the columns of the portico Nikolo-Zlatovlaska Church (before our time) and also Nobility Assembly house (today the House of officers), who were on the same side of the street.

Over the "old gate" in the late 19th and early 20th centuries the first provincial library. It existed only on private donations. The library occupied two rooms. There was also a reading room. In 1908, the library was transferred to the house of P. Ilyin.
In 1911, the owners of the trading house "Boyarinov and Kuznetsov was decided to rebuild the benches in the front of the line Shopping malls. Merchants stopped on the project of architect S. M. Zharov. Thus there was a two-storey shop, which the inhabitants of Vladimir called "bricks" – in appearance of the building in the facade of the store used glazed bricks.

In 1914, V. A. Petrovsky, owner of corner shops in Tsaritsyno street, also decided to rebuild the premises at the project of the same architect. The Vladimir and found this store its name. Because of the round tower, which was decorated with bas-reliefs, this store is called "round Gum" (today is "Home clothes").

During the Great expansion of the Moscow streets, held in 1950-1952, most part of the series lost its column design. Was dismantled and the Northern part of the Trading rows.

Currently Trading numbers continue to perform their intended function. It is planned to restore the Northern parts of them. Today Vladimir Trading rows represent the largest shopping complex in the city and region with an area of over 30000 square meters, besides, he is a monument of architecture of local value.
