The Church in honor of the Holy Prince Igor of Chernigov, located in Vladivostok on the street Fountain street, is one of the attractions of this beautiful city. The temple is dedicated to the memory of soldiers of the Department of internal Affairs of Primorsky Krai, who died during the execution of his duty.
The brick Church was erected in the shortest possible time - in June 2006. At the solemn ceremony of consecration of the Church the leadership of the Department of internal Affairs of Primorsky Krai presented the Church with an icon of the Holy Nobleborn Prince Igor of Chernigov. This icon, size 50 by 40 inches, is made known local icon painter Sergei Sekulow. The icon depicts Prince Igor of Chernigov with cross, holding in his hand a sword. Icon has become the patron Saint for the Church.
Near the temple of Igor of Chernigov is a memorial to the soldiers of the ATC.
