The Church of the Holy great Martyr and healer Panteleimon in Vsevolozhskaya Central hospital consecrated on 10 December 1996.
The administration Vsevolozhskaya district hospital has begun to prepare for the construction of the temple after the blessing given in 1995 by the Bishop of Tikhvin, vicar of the St. Petersburg diocese, most Reverend Simon.

Under the premise of the temple healer Panteleimon converted one-story commercial building located on the hospital grounds. All the necessary liturgical supplies were purchased with funds of the Central hospital of Vsevolozhsk and voluntary donations. The power of the believers in a relatively short period were reconditioned all communications building, dedicated to the temple. Have installed all the necessary temple adaptations: an altar, throne, pulpit, table of the iconostasis, the choir, lecterns. Equipped utility room of the temple, a place to trade candles, made and installed the iconostasis, more than 30 icons.

When all the construction work of the temple of the great Martyr Panteleimon at the district hospital has been completed (and it happened in July 1996, the hospital appealed to the Archpriest I. Varlamov, the rector of Holy Trinity Church of Vsevolozhsk, with the request that he applied to Metropolitan Vladimir, on the consecration of the hospital Church. The blessing of the Metropolitan were received.

In December 1996, Archpriest Nicholas (Teteriatnikov), co-served by Archpriest I. Varlamov and Archpriest P. Fearon, choir, deacons, and at a large gathering of believers were committed, the consecration and the divine Liturgy. Care of the temple healer Panteleimon laid on the parables of Holy Trinity Church of Vsevolozhsk.

In 1999 the administration of the district hospital Archpriest I. the Eunuch, the rector of the Church of the Vernicle on Rumbelows mountain, was sent a request for the spiritual care of the parish Church of St. Panteleimon, and since 1999 he was assigned to the Church of the Saviour. After that in the hospital Church began regular services.

In addition, in the hospital Church was a branch of the club of "Wakefulness" (St.-Petersburg) with the blessing of Archpriest Igor (the Eunuch), Abbot of the temple. "Vigil" is active in the fight against drug addiction and alcoholism. In the hospital departments, including in maternity, were organized stands, where you can get acquainted with the Orthodox literature. In the hospital Church was conducted daily duty, i.e. it was available to everyone to pray.

In April 2002 addressed to his Eminence, Metropolitan Vladimir, the hospital filed a petition for the hospital Church of the Holy GreatMartyr and healer Panteleimon was given the status of an independent parish and was appointed as the permanent priest.

Already on 16 may 2002, by Decree of Metropolitan Volodymyr, the rector of the Church of St Pantaleon in the district hospital of Vsevolozhsk was appointed priest Mikhail Petrovich Pogodin.
