The monument to V. A. Vsevolozhsky in Vsevolozhsk opened in 2009 Vsevolod Andreevich Vsevolozhsky was considered one of the richest people in Russia. It was also called "St. Petersburg Croesus". He was Astrakhan Vice-Governor, actual Chamberlain, a retired guard captain, and a state Councilor, the organizer of the country's first steamship. As the owner of many businesses, Vsevolozhsk paid great attention to new technologies: they introduced the refining of sugar, the manufacture of iron English way. He was the founder of Russia's first iron foundry.

Their land holdings V. A. Vsevolozhsky expanded, acquiring new possessions and estates. Thus in the early 19th century in his hands departed the manor under the name of Ryabovo with extensive surrounding areas. In this estate near St. Petersburg by Vsevolod Andreevich had invested a lot of funds and energy in order to change its status.

In the 18th century on the place where today is located the town of Vsevolozhsk, was the manor of Ryabovo, which Peter I granted to Alexander Menshikov after the great Northern war. In 1774-1779 he, the manor was owned by I. J. Fredericks, who was engaged in the cheese business. In 1818 Ryabovo came into the possession of the family V. A. Vsevolozhsky. Vsevolod Andreevich continued the last owner of the manor reclamation works, had gas lighting and built a sugar factory. Mined here bog ore is built to work ironworks, was made of tin and iron. In the territories when the estate was broken with a huge garden, and built a greenhouse growing vegetables, fruits, exotic flowers and unusual for Northern latitudes citrus, grapes and peaches, which were delivered in St. Petersburg.
