The Church of the world — wooden Church, recognized as the largest such buildings in Europe. The Church is located in the towns Jawor and Swidnica. The buildings were listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2001.

The construction of the churches of the world began after the Thirty years war in the second half of the seventeenth century. Right on the erection of three churches was received by the Lutheran evangelists from the Emperor Ferdinand III. According to the requirements of the Church would be built beyond the boundaries of the cities of ephemeral materials. Were built three churches in three Polish cities: in Jawor, świdnica and in Glogow. The Church in Glogow has not been preserved.

The construction of the Church in świdnica began in 1656 by the architect Albrecht von Sabia and carpenter Andreas Kemper. The Grand opening was held on 24 June 1657. Three-aisled Basilica consists of a wooden frame and wooden columns. The Central nave has a height of about 15 meters and a length of about 44 meters. The Church could accommodate 7500 members.

In 1852 the 200th anniversary of the Church were carried out extensive restoration work. The frame structure was renovated, with the southern part was added to the new lobby. Special attention was paid to the restoration of paintings. Church of peace in świdnica is one of two surviving structures of its kind in Europe, so it has great historical and artistic value.

The ceilings of the Church is decorated with paintings by local artists: "the heavenly Jerusalem", "the Fall of the sinful city of Babylon", "the last judgment" and others.

The chair in Baroque style was created by master Gottfried Augustus Hoffman. The stairs were decorated with scenes from the Bible: "the descent of the Holy spirit," "Calvary" and "Paradise." Carved balustrades are the allegories of Faith, Hope and Love.

The main altar was built in honor of the centennial anniversary of the Church.
