The monument Mari poet and actor Kirill Ivanovich Ivanov (stage image - Yivan Karla) was established on 2 November 2009 prior to the building of the railway station. The bronze monument depicts Cirle in the image of Mustafa from the film "road to life", sitting on a trolley.
In 1932, after the first Soviet sound film, a triumph held in 107 countries around the world, about a young, talented actor talking all. Jivan Karle in the role of a leader of street kids named Mustafa "Firth" became the people's favourite and the first Mari actor who has acquired so much popularity. But unlike the character in Iyana not happened and in 1937 actor Mari state drama theatre in Yoshkar-Ola arrested, attributing part in counter-revolutionary group. In 1943 Jivan Karle died in a Soviet concentration camp.
The idea of creating the monument, the birthplace of actor emerged with the approaching centenary of Jivan Karle. The authors of unusual composition are two Mari sculptor: Anatoly Chernin and Sergey Andube. The authors – a symbol of the roads that we choose for ourselves: the film's protagonist fought and died, but remained in the memory of a bright, incredibly charming and cheerful character.
The monument Iyanu Carle - the first attraction, which sees guest Yoshkar-Ola, leaving the platform of the railway station. In the monument, depicting not only the story of a once popular film, but also part of the history of the Mari people.
