The Bayonet obelisk is the main monument of the Memorial complex Brest Fortress. The obelisk was designed by the Belarusian branch of the Central research Institute "project steel construction and mounted on 5 July 1971.

The obelisk is a complex engineering structure with a height of 104, 5 meters and weighing 620 tons. The size of the base 5. 5 meters, the peaks 2, 6 x 0, 45 meters. The monument is visible from any point of the Brest fortress and far beyond its borders.
