Karlovy vary is primarily a resort with thermal springs, the water of which helps in various diseases. So you come here for a productive treatment, and only very few just want to see the city. Services health services offer numerous health resort complexes, the most famous of which, perhaps, is considered Military-Spa. Its impressive, massive building, built in 1855 in the neo-Renaissance style by architect V. Hagenauer, is located immediately outside the Garden colonnade. Unfortunately, everyone Military-Spa could not see, she only serves Czech soldiers and does so at a very high level.

However, nothing prevents to go in the middle of the building to see what is rightly proud of this hospital. And the case is not about state-of-theart equipment, and not even about the healing spring Garden, located in the basement of the building. We are talking about those works of art that adorn the interiors of the hospital. These include the painting of 1848 painter Wilhelm Candler, which depicts a scene of discovery of the thermal springs. This painting adorns the wall in the dining room.

Also, any tourist will be interested in visiting the ancient chapel under the Military-Spa procedures. It was erected in the same year, when put into operation the main building. It is decorated with original sculpture, which represents two angels, kneeling before the crucifix. Another interesting fact: in the chapel are preserved mechanical clocks, which work without breakdowns since 1855.
