"Etnaland is one of the largest entertainment complexes Sicily, located under the open sky in the town Valkarana 12 km from Catania. Once in its place was a small zoo. In 2001, built near a water Park with numerous water slides and rides, and in 2005 added entertainment area "Crocodile slides". Two years later – in 2007 – the zoo, the Waterpark and the last attraction combined into one set, which was given the name "Etnaland" because it is located close to mount Etna.

Today the total area of 110 thousand square.m. operate a variety of entertainment platforms on which both adults and children will find something to their liking. So, in the water Park offers more than 20 slides – both conventional and coiled and entangled. In the zoo you can see tigers, colorful parrots, pink flamingos, harsh bears and other wildlife. And nearby is the Dinosaur Park with models of 23 prehistoric giant life-size and the reconstruction of the first humanoid. Especially popular are the aforementioned "Crocodile coaster descent to the boat on the artificial river with rapids, which is home to elephants, hippos and other animals. Despite the fact that it is just a carefully crafted layouts, attack bats and crocodiles attack cause genuine adrenaline rush. Finally it is worth to ride the cable car length of 1800 meters – one of the biggest in Europe. It offers a wonderful view of mount Etna and scattered on its slopes Botanical garden.

Around the "Etnaland" there are numerous retail outlets and recreational facilities. And in the nearby town of Belpasso is a large shopping Mall "Etnapolis". In the next few years the management of the Park is planning to expand its territory on 20 thousand sqm, which will be built five thematic areas.
