On-site experimental forestry of the Moscow district of Cheboksary is a monument of nature "Grove Gusovskogo", created by a scientist Forester Bronislaw Ilyich Guzowski in the years 1896-1913.

Grove, named after the outstanding Russian scientist, who devoted all his life to its creation, stretches along the Volga river from Ilyinka to Cheboksary. The Park was created for the purpose of restoration of oak forests by natural and artificial habitat. Guzowski made a significant contribution to the enhancement and conservation of oak forests in the Chuvash region. From 1896 on an area of over 1150 hectares were created by the particular culture of an oak, of value not only for the Middle Volga region, but for Russia as a whole. In our days the surviving parts of oak entered the city limits and have become the favorite places of recreation for cheboksartsy and guests of the capital.

In 2010, the 150th anniversary since the birth of B. I. Gusovskogo in front of the entrance to the Park was a memorial obelisk. Nowadays, the Park consists mainly of hardwoods: oak, birch, Linden, maple, elm, ash, etc. In the forest supplied information boards, paved paths, equipped with playgrounds and benches. The Park territory is sanitized and kept clean. Near the main entrance are sports and children's Playground. In the Grove Gusovskogo you can find squirrels, and watch the woodpeckers, great Tits, bullfinches and other birds.

Park Grove Gusovskogo" is an important cultural and educational facility in the city of Cheboksary. Across the road from the Park is Berendey forest.
