Wat Rong Khun, better known as the White Temple, is one of the most unusual and memorable temples of Northern Thailand and the country in General.

Its construction started in 1996 and will end, according to the author of Chalermchai of Kositpipat only after 60-90 years after his death. For him the White Temple - the project of a lifetime, own a lucky charm. Čalermčaj is a freelance artist, sculptor and architect. He builds the temple on their own funds and essentially refuses the help of sponsors, not to go in anyone else about it.

According to the author, Wat Rong Khun is an abode of Buddha on Earth, and in his words, it is difficult to doubt. All kind the Church declares its divine nature. It is made entirely in white and each element is decorated with tiny glass tiles. The temple like flying in the air thanks to this reception.

Despite the fact that the White Church has no resident monks, its construction was approved and blessed by Buddhist Sangha of Thailand.
