One of the most original churches in the world is the Church of Grundtvig. It's a Lutheran Church, which is located in the district of Bispebjerg Copenhagen. The Church of Grundtvig is named after the Danish theologian, renowned theologian and priest Nikolai Frederik Severin of Grundtvig.

The construction of the Church began in 1921 by the famous Danish architect and engineer of Peder Wilhelm Jensen-Klint. Final construction work of the building was completed in 1940, the son of Jensen-Klint Kaare Clint. The Church was built in the expressionist style, intertwined with the features of the Gothic, Baroque, modern architectural styles, and architecture Danish village churches. Especially the original West facade of the temple, which is similar to a Church organ.

The facility was built from a special yellow brick handmade. Clint decorated the nave of the Church stepped Gables with double peaks. The length of the inner hall of the temple is 76 meters long, the height of the nave is 22 meters. The altar in the Church built Care Clint on sketches by Jensen-Klint from the same yellow brick as the Church. Originally, the Church was 1863 chairs for the congregation, but as the gallery is closed today, the Church can accommodate more than 1300 visitors. On the North side of the nave of the Cathedral is a small Church organ, supplied here in 1940. A large Church organ set in 1956. In its structure there are 11-foot pipe, which is the longest organ pipes in Scandinavia.

Today the Church is open for free visits. It regularly hosts organ concerts.
