Fire tower in Hrodna – the monument of architecture of the early XX century, the current fire station and the Museum of fire and emergency services. It is in every sense a remarkable building is located in a rich historical events the streets of Grodno Castle.

However, it soon became apparent that the wooden tower is too low and does not provide a complete overview of the city. Then in 1902 instead of wooden stone was built 32-metre tower. On the watchtower sentinel was on duty, when a fire is detected, loudly rang the bell. Fire brigade, armed with barrels on carts, went to the scene.

During the First World war there was an incident: sentinel on the watch-tower the Germans found Russian spies and decided to shoot. The Museum contains interesting exhibits on the largest fires Grodno and on ways to combat the fire.
